Deploying many apps at once

Setting up a new fleet usually means deploying a dozen apps, not one. Multi-select in the App Library sends you through a review page, so deploying many apps stays a considered action rather than an accident.

Select and review

  1. In App Library, tick the checkbox on each app you want. A bar appears at the bottom with Review and deploy N apps; Clear empties the selection.
  2. Select Review and deploy. The review page lists every chosen app with its platform, version and installer.
  3. Open Edit plan on any row to expand that app's full package plan inline and adjust it, exactly as on the single-app plan page. Remove takes an app out of the batch (it asks first).
  4. Pick the Intune tenant and set assignments for the batch: the same group picker as the single-app wizard, with Required or Available intent and include or exclude filters.
  5. Select Deploy. PatchBee creates one packaging job per app; watch them all under Jobs.

Example: a new-starter baseline in one pass

Tick Google Chrome, 7-Zip, Notepad++, Zoom and VLC in the App Library, then Review and deploy 5 apps. On the review page, assign the batch to the New starters Entra group as Required, glance over each plan (the defaults are usually right), and deploy. Five jobs run in parallel; a few minutes later the whole baseline is published, assigned, and tracked for updates.

When to use App Sets instead

Multi-select is for a one-off batch. If you deploy the same bundle repeatedly, across customers or tenants, define it once as an App Set (MSP feature) and deploy the set; see the app sets guide.
