Finding apps
The App Library is PatchBee's built-in catalog: 6,300+ Windows and macOS apps, kept current automatically.
Search and filter
- Open App Library from the sidebar.
- Type in the Search box (app name or publisher).
- Narrow the results with the filters: Publisher, Installer type, Architecture, and Platform (Windows or macOS; macOS apps show a platform badge).
- Switch between Table and Tiles views with the toggle.
Open an app
Select an app to see its details: available versions and installer information, newest first. From here you have two ways in:
- Package latest, at the top of the versions list, jumps straight to the plan for the newest version. This is the usual route.
- Or expand any version in the list and select Create package plan for that specific version.
Example: finding the right Chrome
Searching chrome shows two entries: Google Chrome for Windows (from the Windows catalog, MSI and EXE installers, x86, x64 and arm64) and google-chrome for macOS (a DMG). The platform badge and installer chips tell them apart at a glance; pick the one matching the devices you are targeting. If you manage both, you will deploy each platform separately with the same few clicks.
Selecting several apps at once
Every app card and table row has a checkbox. Tick a few and a bar appears at the bottom of the page with Review and deploy N apps; that takes you to a review page where you check each app's plan before anything is deployed. See the next-but-one guide, Deploying many apps at once.
