Managing users

Invite your colleagues into your workspace and decide what each of them can do. Everything lives under Settings → Users.

Roles

  • Tenant admin: can do everything, including inviting people and managing users, connections, and settings.
  • Tenant user: can use the app to package and publish apps, but cannot invite people or change settings.

You can change someone's role at any time.

Invite someone

  1. Go to Settings → Users and select Invite user.
  2. Enter their work email address and pick a role.
  3. Select Send invitation.

They get an email inviting them to the workspace. To accept, they simply sign in to PatchBee with their Microsoft work account: no password to set up, no separate account to create. When they sign in, they land straight in your workspace with the role you chose.

See who is in your workspace

The Users page shows two lists: Members (people who have joined, with their role) and Pending invitations (people who have not signed in yet; one outstanding too long shows as Expired).

Manage invitations and people

  • Cancel a pending invitation so it can no longer be used.
  • Resend an invitation if it expired or got lost.
  • Change a member's role from the dropdown next to them.
  • Remove a member; they lose access until invited again.

Who can access the workspace?

Only people you invite. If someone signs in with Microsoft without an invitation, they see a message that they are not invited yet and should ask an admin.
